《涛出心里话》由颇具观众缘和现场灵动性的省内新晋主持人沈涛独立担纲，以主持人的个人形象与风格作为栏目重要标识，以栏目名称植入主持人姓名的方式来凸现栏目新的特质——“涛（掏）出心里话”，即以沈涛说故事、沈涛真性情的评说、沈涛和观众及当事人的亲和互动等等来强化主持人形象符号和功能，实现主持人个人和节目内容之间的相互牵动和提升。
